QD Forensics provides forensic document examination and digital examination services to government departments, private investigators, companies, members of the legal fraternity and private individuals.

John Ganas, the principal examiner has over 17 years experience with the Victoria Police Document Examination Unit and holds a Degree of Bachelor of Science, a Post Graduate Diploma in Forensic Science and a Graduate Diploma in Computer Science.

He has extensive court experience, is a sessional lecturer on Document Examination at La Trobe University, Swinburne University and the University of Melbourne, as well as regularly providing specialized lectures to various law enforcement groups and government agencies.

He is a committee member and a past president of the Australian and New Zealand Forensic Science Society (Vic Branch) and a member of the SMANZFL Document Examination Specialist Advisory Group.
